David Manning Consulting is owned and run by its director David who is a talented leader and strategist with over 3 decades of military, defence and security experience. He has a wealth of leadership and management experience up to and including Board level. David advises, coaches and mentors companies and their senior leadership teams to refocuss and reshape their organisation and strategy to deliver improved commercial growth and success.

 

David is a graduate of the highly selective United Kingdom’s Higher Command and Staff Course (HCSC) and the world-renowned Royal College of Defence Studies; where he spent a year studying the art of developing strategy. He has a Masters of Art in Defence Studies from Kings College London, is a double alumnus of the Windsor Leadership Programme, completed both the Defence Senior Leadership Programme and the Institute of Directors Certificate in Direction Course and is a Chartered Companion of the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) and a CMI qualified coach and mentor.

 

David is renowned for developing and delivering strategic change, business transformation and contingency planning at pace. He has a proven background in
procurement, programme, risk and financial management and a track record of delivering commercial success under pressure. A critical thinker, he has had demonstrable success leading and mentoring empowered and extraordinarily successful teams. His focus is to inspire and empower teams to deliver innovative outcomes to complex and challenging problems.
